BRADENTON — Downtown Bradenton will welcome a coffee shop, dessert parlor, and multiple retail tenants.

In a recent edition of “The Bradenton Update” newsletter, the city says it’s carved out five retail spaces in the City Centre Parking Facility at 3rd Avenue West between 10th and 12th Streets.

The businesses include Friendly City Coffee, a men’s fashion shop, boutique Pink And Navy, Millie’s Sweets and Treats ice cream shop, and The Beach Shop.

The city hopes to have a media event early July with some of the businesses open, and a big grand opening before Labor Day weekend ahead of Bradenton Public Market’s seasonal opening in October.

The garage houses the Manatee Chamber of Commerce and is across the street from the Hampton Inn and Suites Bradenton Downtown and The Bishop Museum of Science and nature.
