(SNN TV) – The CDC could have passengers back on Cruise Ships by Mid-July.

In a letter to cruise lines, the CDC said they might be able to resume voyages by this July, however there are some rules, they must follow.

The CDC says if 98 percent of a ships crew and 95 percent of passengers are fully vaccinated, the ship could set sail.

In addition, the statement from the CDC says fully vaccinated passengers and crew members will no longer need to undergo a nucleic acid test for COVID, instead they may take a simple viral test once they board the ship.
