SARASOTA – Florida continues to see an increase in coronavirus according to the Florida Department of Health.

As of Sunday afternoon, Florida has 4,950 cases of COVID-19. 60 people have died.

Sarasota County has 6 cases. Sarasota Memorial reported as of Saturday having an additional four patients diagnosed with COVID-19. Manatee has 38 cases. While Charlotte County now has 16 cases.

The latest numbers makes Florida the 5th most infected state in the U.S. The Florida D.O.H is reporting updates everyday around 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., we’ll have the latest information as soon as it becomes available.
