BRADENTON, Fla. (SNN TV) – The city of Bradenton reports multiple closures and flooded roadways caused by Hurricane Idalia.
BRADENTON RIVERWALK – The city reports the Riverwalk is flooded, especially the skate park. They recommend avoiding traveling to the area.
CITY HALL – Bradenton City Hall will remain closed through the rest of Wednesday.
PARKS – All city parks in Bradenton are closed until further notice due to flooding.
ROADS – These roads are reported as being flooded and/or impassable:
- Palma Sola Boulevard West
- Virginia Avenue from a half block south of Manatee Avenue down to 12th Ave W
- Riverview Dr W east from 26th Street
- Riverside Dr E: 2nd St to 6th St, 18th St to 21st St, 24th St to Chauncey Ave E
- 4th St and 1st Ave E
- 2nd Ave East is impassable from 17th St East to Brown St. East. This include parts of 3rd Ave East.
