TAMPA (SNN-TV) – Sunday night Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the first time since Super Bowl LV,  and too bad for the Bucs, last night didn’t resemble the original game in any meaningful way.

Mahomes hit TE Travis Kelce on a 16-yard touchdown pass just 46 seconds into the contest and finished with 249 yards and three TD’S in a 41-31 win for the visiting Chiefs at Raymond James Stadium.

Kansas City found the end zone on its first three possessions, converting six straight third-down attempts, and didn’t punt until there were 52 seconds left in regulation. The loss was the Buccaneers’ second in a row at home after they began the season with road wins at Dallas and New Orleans.

Tampa finished the game with just three yards on six carries, but Brady completed 39-of-52 passes, for 385 yards and 3 TD’s, two of which went to the returning Mike Evans.
