TAMPA (SNN-TV) – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers opened their 2022 training camp this week, with all veterans reporting today.

The camp arrivals were overshadowed by the Bucs‘ afternoon signing of WR Julio Jones to a one-year deal. Jones appeared in 10 games last year for the Tennessee Titans, tallying 31 catches for 434 yards and a touchdown. It was a career low for Jones in all three categories.

The Bucs also waived practice squad tight end Codey McElroy with an injury designation today, leaving the Bucs with six tight ends on the roster for the start of training camp.

The first practice is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 8:30am.
