TAMPA (SNN-TV) – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today activated cornerback Richard Sherman from the Reserve/Injured list.
Sherman has appeared in and started three games for Tampa Bay this season after signing with the team on Sept. 29, recording 11 tackles and one fumble recovery.
Over 142 career regular season games, including 136 starts, Sherman has amassed 495 tackles (12 for loss), 115 passes defensed, 36 interceptions (478 return yards), seven fumble recoveries, five forced fumbles, three defensive touchdowns and 2.0 sacks.
Since entering the league in 2011, Sherman leads the NFL with 36 interceptions, while his 115 passes defensed rank sixth during that span.
