TAMPA (SNN-TV) – South Florida fell to Tulsa 32-31 on Saturday, but one bright spot came on a kickoff return for the Bulls.

Former Sarasota Sailors star and current USF running back, Brian Battie, returned a kickoff 100-yards for a touchdown on Saturday.

Earlier today, Battie was named the American Athletic Conference’s Special Teams Player of the Week following the performance.

Battie now ranks 7th nationally, averaging 31.4 yards per kickoff return.
