SARASOTA (SNN-TV) – Booker High School has fired head football coach, Baraka Atkins, after three seasons.
Atkins took over for his brother Dumaka Atkins prior to the 2019 season. During his three seasons, Atkins and the Tornadoes went 4-24, finishing 1-8 this past season.
Baraka Atkins will remain as the Tornadoes girls weightlifting coach and track and field coach.
Booker also is without an Athletic Director as Jammie Jordan recently let go, as well.
