PUNTA GORDA, Fla. (SNN TV) – Hundreds of professional and amateur BMX riders from across the country will descend on Punta Gorda this weekend. 

BMX moved on from Olympic qualifying in Sarasota last weekend, so they are moving south for the 2nd stop on the 2024 tour.

The USA BMX Citrus State Nationals begin at 1:30 this Friday, Jan. 12th, and races continue at 9:00 a.m., Saturday and 8:00 a.m., Sunday.

The races are run at Charlotte BMX located at 2505 Carmalita Street in Punta Gorda where fans can watch and cheer on their favorite riders as they expertly navigate jumps, twists and turns along the track.

Parking is $10 per day.
