ANNA MARIA (SNN TV) – Anna Maria Island residents are no longer being asked to conserve water.

That’s because Manatee County announced Thursday afternoon that water main service has been restored. The county says more work will continue to permanently reposition the main along the span.

Crews will also be in the area removing the old pipe from the water.

If the county expects road closures or traffic issues related to the work, it says it’ll notify residents and visitors.
