SARASOTA – Starting Wednesday, all county-operated playgrounds, dog parks, tennis, pickleball, basketball and volleyball courts will be closed for public use.
Outdoor park areas will remain open for walking, jogging, exercise, and enjoyment.
Visitors are urged to follow guidelines of state health officials including gatherings of fewer than 10 people, and social distancing of at least 6 feet apart.
