SARASOTA – As election season approaches, elected officials had to adapt quickly to earn their constituents votes.

Vice Chairman of the Florida GOP Christian Ziegler says the Florida Trump Campaign made the switch to host virtual campaign meetings and reaching out to the potential voters without having to leave home. Ziegler says they’ve trained nine thousand volunteers in the state. He says the Florida GOP has stepped up their game competing against the Democratic here in Florida.

“Compared to the democratic party they did a press release, some big touting, 427,000 made in the month of April,” said Ziegler. “The Republican Party of Florida did 550,000 in one week, so we’re crushing them online.”

Ziegler says the GOP has rallies and other events planned for the Trump campaign across the state via phone calls and zoom to connect the president to his constituents come election time.
