JACKSONVILLE – All Elite Wrestling or known to wrestling fans as AEW is the new wrestling promotion that’s been stealing the spotlight from its competitors, by putting together never before seen matches with an elite roster of talented men and women.

Especially after the most talked about tag team in industry made their surprise debut. Sending a clear message that AEW is the one to watch, and wrestling fans are agreeing.

“I can say this right now with all the confidence in the world, what we’ve done since the beginning,” said Santana. “I think that we’ll forever be a part of the history of AEW.”

The team of Santana and Ortiz have been a force to be reckon with since gaining popularity in the independent scene and becoming the top talent everywhere they go.

The two signed with AEW in late 2019. Since then Santana & Ortiz have been ruthless while on their path to success by aligning themselves with the Inner Circle. Spearheaded by a legend in the business Chris Jericho.

“There’s a lot of opportunities for people to make a connection with the fans. Because there’s people that this is the first time that they are on national television” said Ortiz. “And they’re really getting to develop their characters, develop their skills in the ring.”

Both men agree that at a time when pro wrestling was losing its touch and the illusion behind the matches and antics were beginning to fade.

The creative control the talent has over the growth of their characters is how AEW is bringing professional wrestling back to the fans.

“AEW allowing their talent to be creative and allowing and trusting them to put together their own matches. And to not put any restrictions on guys or girls.” said Santana.

AEW looks to become the first pro wrestling promotion in the country to start touring across the U.S. with their first stop taken place in Miami July 7th.
