SARASOTA – A Suncoast man pulls a gun on emergency medical personnel.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office received a medical call Friday afternoon at Vignette Way near Palmer Place residence.
Lt. Jeff Lane says the EMT arrived for medical assistance but found a man with a gun.
“When they showed up, they encountered a subject that they believed had a weapon, and it got pointed at them, and they left, and we were notified, came out and located the subject, and the scene is secure at this time,” Lt. Jeff Lane said.
The subject is in custody. No one was injured. And no paramedics were involved.
Lt. Lane says it will be turned over to the detective division.
