SARASOTA (SNN-TV) – Three area boys basketball teams received at-large bids to join the five district champions in the FHSAA boys basketball regional tournament.
Lemon Bay, Southeast and Port Charlotte received at-large bids to join district champions St. Stephen’s Episcopal, Bradenton Christian, Palmetto, Charlotte and Riverview in the regional quarterfinals. Regional quarterfinal round games are scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday (see schedule below).
