SARASOTA – 40 artists participated at the Lido Beach Winter Fine Art Festival this weekend. An array of artist displayed their work from paintings, to photography, and sculptures.
Patti & Bob Stern have been making art for 25 years. They like to find antique pieces of any kind and give them new life with their art.
“Really nobody in the country really does what we do it’s very time consuming and hard to find all the pieces, the beautiful old pieces, most of them we get from antique dealers up north and they’re just beautiful,” said Bob.
“We actually think that the world needs more whimsy because every day in the news is doom and gloom,” said Patti. The couple says they enjoy doing smaller art festivals because of the intimacy interaction with buyers.
