VENICE- The 43rd annual Venice Holiday Parade kicks off at 7 tonight.
Lawn chairs were propped up early Saturday morning, hundreds saving their spot for the best view of the parade. The city of Venice is expecting more than 40,000 people. Due to the ongoing construction, the parade route will run from Park and West Venice Avenue until Harbour Drive, then will go North on Tampa avenue. Some local businesses say they will miss seeing the parade go by, on its usual route.
