SARASOTA (WSNN) – Suncoast small business owner hasn’t let her doors being closed keep her from opening new ones.

T. Georgiano’s boutique is a women’s retail store offering designer brands: footwear, apparel, and accessories.

Owner, Tatyana Sharoubim-Stewart says the post office has become her best friend.

She’s using creative ways to give her customers what they want.

This includes curbside pick-up, home deliveries, and even “unofficial fashion shows” at home through Facebook live with special appearances by her children.

She says this pandemic has forced ingenuity and opened new doors.

“It’s totally amped up my level of output in terms of expanding my offering so that I can increase my margins throughout the year,” Sharoubim-Stewart said. “My goal was to increase the online sales and presence and boy did I really have to push that, and has been great.”

Her weekly e-newsletter has 2,000 subscribers, in which she posts inspirational blogs and links to clothing and accessories. And to her 10,000 followers on Instagram, she posts photos of herself and her family.

New doors have also given her a deeper appreciation of what she does.

“I know I love what I do, but this made me realized how much I love what I do; how it’s just much more than just products, it’s a whole lifestyle, its connection with our customers, with our friends, our community,” Sharoubim-Stewart said.

Sharoubim-Stewart says she plans to continue the services even after the pandemic is over.

She hopes to offer private appointments in May. T. Georgiano’s will be opening its doors on Monday in Phase One.

She also started a Pushup for Resilience challenge to motivate people during isolation. She does 20 pushups a day.
