ELLENTON (WSNN) – Meals on Wheels rolls in with Food for the Suncoast Saturday morning.
They held a mass food distribution at Ellenton Premium Outlets.
Organizers say they prepared about one thousand meals for families. And nearly 600 cars came out.
A family of five received about 4-5 days worth of food. The boxes contained non-perishable foods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also provided snacks, bread, and milk.
About 60 volunteers of all ages came to out to help their community.
