SARASOTA — More than 16 years in the National Basketball Association as a player, and the coach of the year with the Dallas Mavericks in 2006, Avery Johnson honored at the 14th Annual Dick Vitale Gala. Johnson talks about his relationship with Vitale, and how thrilled he was to help raise money for cancer research at such a special event.
$25.2 million already raised with the annual event, this years Gala looks to set a record.
