REDWOOD CITY, CA (SNN-TV) – For the first time in more than two decades, legendary football coach John Madden is back on the cover of the popular ‘Madden’ video game.
Madden died last December, and now he’ll be on the cover of all three editions of this year’s game.
Remastered audio clips of Madden’s voice will also be featured on the latest edition.
To further honor Madden, game maker ‘Electronic Arts’ also announced it is giving $2.5M to the ‘John Madden Legacy Commitment to Education’ charity.
Madden NFL 23 is expected to be released later this summer.
