SARASOTA (WSNN) – Savor Sarasota continues this week with dozens of restaurants offering the best meals for your palate. One of the eaterys includes Overture Restaurant inside the Art Ovation Hotel.

The executive chef is cooking up Mediterranean dishes for this special menu.

The meals include Mini Hummus with Toasted Naan and Pulled Braised Moroccan Chicken leg for lunch. And for dinner; Spiced ricotta, Moroccan braised chick along with macerated fruit for dessert

“This post-COVID menu has a more Moroccan, Mediterranean, and Asian style, similar to the Silk Road,” Art Ovation Hotel Executive Chef Ken Lumpkin said. “It has a little bit of the 14 countries around the Mediterranean Sea ranging from France, Italy, to the Balkans and all the way to Japan, which is where I’m from. That’s why there is a little of the Asian flare.”

If come you out to try the menu, you’ll find yourself immersed in color from the food you’re eating to all the artwork here. The hotel is also an art gallery.

“Chef Ken does an amazing job combining the colors of the artwork, his food with the spices and flavors he’s putting together in a colorful array really matches our artwork,” Art Ovation Hotel General Manager of Food and Beverage Brien Reynolds said. “We try and tie our food and beverages into the whole experience.”

Overture Restaurant is located in the art and theatre district of downtown Sarasota. It offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of the week. Art Ovation Hotel also has Perspective Roof Top Bar with live DJs every weekend on Friday and Saturday.
