TAMPA (SNN-TV) – This Sunday, Aug. 14, Ice Cube’s BIG3 league brings its playoffs to Tampa for the first time, where the top four teams will battle it out for a chance to make it to the championship in Atlanta.

Game one will feature the Trilogy vs. Aliens, and game two pits the 3 Headed Monsters vs. Power. The 3-Headed Monsters head coach is 2x NBA All-Star and current Athletic Director and men’s basketball head coach at Bethune-Cookman, Reggie Theus.

Theus is excited for the Tampa sports fan to experience the BIG3 League.

“I have not seen one game that has not been entertaining. If people love basketball this is a great way, in today’s world you millennials, you like everything to happen right now and happen fast, that’s what the BIG3 is. I expect fast-paced excitement, entertainment and celebrity.”
