FLORIDA (SNN TV) – Governor Ron DeSantis frequently blasts President Biden’s laws, but many improvements he touts in Florida are accomplished through those laws.

An analysis from USA Today Florida shows $100 million was pumped into Florida’s Job Growth Grant Fund from Biden’s American Rescue Plan. That was used for infrastructure improvements in Fort Pierce.

$3.5 billion of the state’s budget comes from the federal government.

The $1,000 bonuses for Florida first responders are entirely paid for by Biden’s American Rescue Plan.

And the 25 cent gas tax holiday in October is entirely paid for laws signed by Biden.

The DeSantis administration says the governor deserves “every bit of credit” for these programs. He has attacked programs such as the American Rescue Plan, saying they are causing inflation, but he has not explained how his use of the same money wouldn’t also increase inflation.
