TAMPA (SNN-TV) – Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers did just enough to beat Tom Brady and the short-handed Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The team reported that 69,197 people were at the game, the largest attendance for a Bucs game in Raymond James Stadium history.

Rodgers threw for 255 yards and two touchdowns, and the Packers withstood a late rally led by Tom Brady to hold off the Bucs for a 14-12 victory in the first meeting between the teams since the NFC championship game two seasons ago. The Bucs‘ offense sputtered much of the day without star receivers Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Julio Jones.

Tampa now prepares for the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football, the Bucs have moved practices this week to Miami at the Dolphins facility, and plans are being built to move the game to another city, dependent on Hurricane Ian.
