SARASOTA (SNN-TV) – With the Week 8 football schedule full of great match-ups with some games taking place tonight as well, only one game this week showcases an undefeated team.

The Out-of-Door Academy Thunder currently sits a 6-0 on the season headed into their toughest test yet, tomorrow at home against the 4-1 Cocoa Beach Minutemen. Under the direction of new head coach Rob Hollway, the Thunder are averaging just under 40 points-per-game, and are outscoring their opponents 233-75.

The 6-0 start is the best in the programs history, and is the second longest single-season win streak, only trailing the 9-game stretch put together by the 2009 team that went on to finish 10-2. This season’s success is also a far cry from a grueling one last year, where ODA played in only 5 contests, with COVID and injuries taking a large toll.

Cocoa Beach will be the Thunder’s hardest test to date under Hollway, with the Minutemen surging, having shutout each of their last 4 opponents. Kickoff from Thunder Stadium tomorrow night is set for 7pm
