INDIANAPOLIS, IN (SNN-TV) – Suncoast resident and ESPN college basketball analyst, Dick Vitale, returns to the broadcasting sidelines tonight for the Kentucky- Michigan State game in the Champions Classic in Indianapolis, after a grueling battle with cancer caused him to miss most of last season.

Bouts with lymphoma and melanoma saw Vitale lose his signature voice. But, he rang the cancer-free bell this past summer at Sarasota Memorial and has been resting up, so he can call all the big games over the long five-month season.

Vitale joins Dan Shulman and Holly Rowe tonight on the call for ESPN, with tip-off between the Wildcats and Spartans set for 7pm.
