TALLAHASSEE, FL (SNN-TV) – No. 16 Florida State ended a three-game losing streak to rival Florida last night with a dramatic 45-38 victory behind QB Jordan Travis and a late defensive stand in the game’s final minute.

Travis made big plays through the air and on the ground all night, while the Seminoles defense came up with a fourth-down stop in the final minute as the crowd at Doak Campbell Stadium reached fever pitch.

Trey Benson had a 17-yard touchdown run with 4:06 left to give FSU the win. Benson had 111 yards rushing and three touchdowns, and Jordan Travis ran for 83 yards and two touchdowns. Travis also completed 13 of 30 passes for 270 yards

Both teams now await bowl selection with the Gators finishing 6-6 and FSU at 9-3 and likely ranked in the top-15.
