SARASOTA (SNN TV) – “Another day in paradise” may soon turn to “another game for the Paradise.”

The Sarasota Paradise soccer team is set to begin playing in May at Sarasota High School, according to the Herald-Tribune.

It’ll be coached by 41-year-old Marcus Walfridson, who’s a head coach of professional soccer clubs in Norway and his native Sweden.

The team is part of the pre-professional United Soccer League’s League 2, or USL2. The top three levels of pro soccer in the U-S are Major League Soccer, the USL Championship, and USL League One.

USL2 is the largest pre-professional soccer league in North America with 100 clubs in the U-S, including Florida-based clubs Tampa Bay United and The Villages S-C.

Sarasota Paradise’s schedule will be released at the end of January.
