NORTH PORT (SNN TV) – The North Port High School Indoor Percussion Ensemble takes home the silver.

The group won 2nd place in the FFCC Champions By The Sea competition. FFCC stands for the Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit.

North Port faced eight other schools in their division and came a few points shy of first play winner Santa Fe High School of Alachua County.

In a Facebook post, North Port’s band program congratulated their students, and also parent volunteers who, among other things, helped build props for the kids.

The Alliance band program also thanked Heron Creek Middle School for letting them use their gym for rehearsals while the high school’s gym floor was being refurbished.

From all of us at SNN, congratulations to North Port High’s Indoor Percussion Ensemble!
