SAN JOSE, CA (SNN-TV) – Simone Biles captured an unprecedented 8th U.S. championship title this weekend.

Biles, who only recently returned to competition after a two year break, dominated the field at the U.S. Classic in San Jose, California.

The four-time Olympic gold medalist barely missed a step posting a two-day score of 118.45, four points ahead of runner up Shilese Jones.

At 26, Biles is now the oldest woman to ever win an all-around national title since USA Gymnastics began organizing the event in 1963.

The next challenge for Biles will be in Antwerp in late September at the World Championships, where she hopes to add to her incredible tally of 25 World Championship medals, including 18 golds.

And then next summer, Biles will likely have her eyes set on joining Team USA at the Paris Olympic games.
