PUNTA GORDA, Fla. (SNN TV) – Get your running shoes ready — the Punta Gorda Half Marathon and 5K run is coming soon.
The 5K takes place at Laishley Park in Punta Gorda. That’s on the waterfront along the Peace River and Charlotte Harbor.
Water and Gatorade will be available about every two miles or less, plus complimentary refreshments after the race. Runners are invited to try out local seafood restaurants downtown.
Seasoned and unseasoned runners are welcome to participate. Included with each entry is a tanktop or shirt, snacks, finish medal, finish video, photos and live reports.
