VENICE- It’s the 25th silver anniversary of a tasty tradition this weekend in Venice.

Volunteers at the Jewish congregation of Venice are making final preparations for the Jewish food festival, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Pastrami sandwiches, knishes and lots of stuffed cabbage will be just some of the items available. There will also be home-baked Jewish pastries and much more.

Organizers say they’re expecting more than 5,000 visitors to celebrate the diversity of Jewish foods and culture.

In addition to all the food, there will also be a book sale and a flea market, with various items available to purchase to benefit the cause. Parking is free at the Jewish congregation of Venice at 600 North Auburn Road.
