SARASOTA COUNTY- The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery at the Chick-Fil-A on Fruitville Road.
Deputies say the suspect entered the restaurant and demanded money from the employees with a semi-automatic pistol , just after 10 Friday night. The suspect then ran into the parking lot and left. Deputies described the suspect as a white male in his late 20s-early 30’s, slim build, slight facial hair, wearing a dark colored jacket, dark colored pants, black cap with the letter ‘S’ on the front .
No employees or customers were injured during the incident.
