SARASOTA- A medical marijuana dispensary is being proposed at Clark Road and Colonial Drive in Sarasota.
Knox Medical, which is in the process of rebranding as Fluent, is seeking to open the store, but first need approval from Sarasota County to open the dispensary. The Sarasota County Planning Commission will hear Knox’s special exception petition at a meeting on Aug. 15.
Knox is seeking to take over the site of a pool supply store at 2864 Clark Road near the intersection with Swift Road. Knox has been selling medical marijuana in Florida since 2017.
