CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (SNN TV) – Charlotte County nonprofits have some more time to apply for Small Business Administration loans related to Hurricane Idalia.

Charlotte County Emergency Management shared that the U.S. SBA has extended disaster loan assistance to the county.

Eligible private nonprofit organizations that are eligible for loans include soup kitchens and homeless shelters.

These organizations can apply for low-interest loans up to $2 million to recover from Hurricane Idalia damages.

The deadline for property damage applications is Nov. 8, 2023, while economic injury applications are June 10, 2024.
