SARASOTA – It’s a “New Year, New You” Health and Wellness Expo.
Lakewood Ranch Medical Center hosts the expo at the Mall at University Town Center for the first time, after having done it for seven years. Previously, they held it at the Lakewood Ranch Medical Center.
The event included more than 50 vendors. It had keynote speakers, fitness classes, meditation sessions, and cooking demos.
The executive director of Lakewood Ranch community activities, Keith Pandelogolu, says there is something for everyone.
“What we hope is that people maybe take away something new in 2020,” Keith Pandelogolu said. “Maybe it’s a new workout regimen, maybe it’s a new meditation practice, or maybe it’s just taking care of a medical issue that’s been outstanding for way too long.
Keith says more than fifty thousand people went to the mall.
