SARASOTA – Frankie’s Tree Service was trimming trees at a home near Bay Street.

Sarasota Police reports, the identified employee, Leyva, knocked on the victim’s door, and they spoke.

But, as she walked back into her home, the victims says, Leyba followed her in without her permission.

Sarasota Police spokeswoman, Genevieve Judge, says he then assaulted her, touching her and grabbing her in the kitchen.

“She said for him to stop, that it wasn’t appropriate, said that her husband would be home soon and he made comments like, ‘Oh the one who just left,'”  Genevieve Judge said. “She became concerned for her son that was sleeping nearby in a bedroom. And when she went to go check on her son in the nearby bedroom, that’s when he continued to follow her, and inappropriately touch her again.”

The suspect left and she called 911. Detectives believe there might be other victims involving Frankie’s Tree Service.
