VENICE, Fla. (SNN TV) — Weekend storms closed Humphris Park at the South Jetty in Venice.
The city of Venice shared that the park sustained damage, including from floodwater. It’s closed Sunday and Monday until the City’s Public Works Department can evaluate the damage and make repairs.
The city also shared a reminder that the South Jetty walkway has been closed due to pedestrian hazards and other damage from Hurricane Idalia.
The Venice Fishing Pier is still open.
Humphris Park is located at 2000 Tarpon Center Drive.
