SARASOTA, Fla. (SNN TV) — The Sarasota Police Department is probing whether the Florida Republican Party chairman committed video voyeurism.

The Herald-Tribune reported the department filed an application for a third search warrant last month seeking data from Christian Ziegler’s Instagram account.

A detective wrote in the affidavit that “probable cause exists” that Zeigler used his Instagram account to commit video voyeurism.

It states the victim didn’t give Ziegler consent to take the video.

The search warrant affidavits reveal that Christian and his wife Bridget had a three-way sexual encounter with the alleged rape victim more than a year ago with another planned last October.

The Sarasota Police investigation into Ziegler is ongoing, and he has not yet been charged with any crimes.
