SARASOTA (WSNN) – While many businesses are struggling to stay afloat during this pandemic, others are having lines out the door.
Shoot Straight Gun Range and Store in Sarasota on University Parkway remained open during the statewide shutdown.
The owner says business has been booming since the beginning of March. But, the reason there are lines out the door is because the store is limiting capacity to 25 people. The owner said he never had to worry about capacity limitation before COVID-19; they just follow the fire code.
The SNN crew spoke to some bystanders who said they left because it was too crowded. We reached out to corporate on whether the 25 limit capacity is hurting the business during its busiest time, but we’re still waiting on a response from corporate.
