BRADENTON (WSNN) – Detectives arrest two Michigan men in connection with the killing of a Bradenton man several months ago.

On October 17, Bradenton police officers investigated the homicide of 30-year-old Michael Briles who was killed during a home invasion at his house.

Surveillance shows it happened around 10 PM in the 2400 block of 11th St W.

Bradenton P-D, the Manatee County Homicide Unit, along with Michigan police units investigated for nearly eight months examining evidence and talking to witnesses.

On Monday, Bradenton PD and Bay City Michigan Detectives arrested Devante Kinsley and Tyler Andrew Sager at their homes without incident.

“Our investigation concluded that Kinsley and Sager are the two individuals in the surveillance video and ultimately planned and committed this homicide,” Bradenton PD Captain, Brian Theirs, said.

The two suspects are at the Bay County jail on first-degree murder and armed burglary charges.

Theirs says the case is still active and there could be more charges.
