SARASOTA – Vice President, Mike Pence, will not be coming to Sarasota as planned.
Pence had been scheduled to appear at the Sarasota Event Center on July 2 as part of his “Faith in America” tour.
The Republican Party of Sarasota County announced Saturday on Facebook, Pence is postponing this campaign event.
It’s not clear as to why, but Florida has been experiencing a big surge in coronavirus cases.
Pence kicked off the tour in Wisconsin this week
