SARASOTA COUNTY,  Fla. (SNN) — The Big Bounce America 2024 tour was inflated in Sarasota on Friday.

Nathan Benderson Park is hosting the World’s Largest Bounce House and seven other massive inflatable attractions, making it the biggest touring inflatable event globally.

“We have the world’s biggest castle, certified by the Guinness Book of World Records,” said Big Bounce tour manager Noa Visnich.

The tour features eight massive inflatables, including the newly expanded 24,000-square-foot World’s Largest Bounce House, the brand-new OctoBlast sea foam party inflatable, a 900+ foot-long obstacle course, a customized sports arena, and, what Visnich is calling, a three-piece space-themed wonderland.

“When you go inside we have DJ’s, confetti, bubbles, foam, games going on, prizes, ball pits,” said Visnich.

While it promises a lot of fun, she said safety is a top priority.

With the scale of these inflatables and a large number of participants, organizers have implemented strict safety measures.

“We have lots of staff inside. They’re all there to keep an eye on everyone, make sure everyone’s playing safe. Everyone’s gotta wear socks, so no shoes, no feet getting stepped on. And we just have rules in place that we teach our staff, and make sure that everyone is following,” said Visnich.

There are multiple sessions for various age groups, so there’s something for the whole family.

“We have our junior session that is just for kids seven and under. Then we have our big kids session, which is 15 and under, but I like to call it our family session because it’s the session where everyone can play altogether. So if you got a 13-year-old and a 5-year-old they can come together and have a great time,” said Visnich.

The Big Bounce America tour takes over Nathan Benderson Park Friday and throughout the weekend.
