TAMPA, Fla. (SNN TV) — Students from across the Suncoast completed a successful all-state performance.

The 2024 Florida Music Education Association’s Professional Development Conference & All-State Concerts took place Jan. 10-13 at the Tampa Convention Center.

Among those who performed were Lemon Bay High clarinetist Sam Nicol, who played in the 9th and 10th grade All-State concert band, English horn player Cole Duncan and contrabassoonist Robin Moussier of Venice High, trumpet player Mikey Moore of Charlotte High, and Parrish High students Miguel Yanez, Esteban Moret-Ramirez, and Caleb Couchois, the three of whom performed in the all-state choirs.

The FMEA website said middle school and high school choruses, bands, jazz ensembles and orchestras performed over the four-day period.
