SARASOTA COUNTY (WSNN) – Sarasota County is seeking public input for a potential new park in Englewood.
You’re invited to attend the virtual public meeting held tomorrow at 6 pm via a Zoom Webinar.
It’s discussing the potential acquisition of two adjacent properties located on West Cowles Street.
Both properties combined are about six acres and have mature native trees and open green space, as well as archaeological and cultural history attributes.
Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources staff will start the meeting with an introduction, followed by a presentation that will include maps, site history, and photos.
During the meeting, attendees will be able to email their questions and comments to PRNRmeetings@scgov.net. Following the presentation, the submitted questions and comments will be shared by staff.
