(WSNN) – Gov. Ron DeSantis issued an executive order Friday, announcing the state will not implement a ‘vaccine passport’ system, which is a way to prove you have been vaccinated.

The order states vaccine passports “will reduce individual freedom and will harm patient privacy.”

It goes on to say vaccine passports would create two classes of citizens based on daily activities such as eating out, going to the movies, or a sporting event.

So, no Florida government entity or business is allowed to issue vaccine passports.

DeSantis states it’s about protecting the rights of Floridians and the free flow of commerce in the states.
