TAMPA (SNN-TV) – With the final preseason game taking place tomorrow in Houston, roster spots are at a premium. One Bucs player, who’s returning home to Houston for tomorrow’s game, will fight for a job in front of his family and friends.

Grant Stuard, a Buccaneers linebacker out of the University of Houston was selected in this year’s NFL Draft, donning him “Mr. Irrelevant.” Stuard joined a solid linebacker core including Lavonte David, Devin White, Kevin Minter, and rookie K.J. Britt.

With roster cuts impending, Stuard finds himself on the verge of making the team, with only one more opportunity to stake his claim. With most of Stuard’s snaps coming on special teams, he not only fights for a job tomorrow in his hometown, but for something else very important to him. “I want that respect from my team as well. That’s going to be my biggest focus this game, is to earn that respect of everybody.”

Kickoff for tomorrow’s preseason finale against the Texans is set for 8pm from NRG Stadium.
