INDIANAPOLIS (SNN-TV) – The Indianapolis Colts and running back Marlon Mack have mutually agreed to seek a trade, as the fifth-year pro has become the odd man out in the club’s plans at the position.

Mack rushed for nearly 1,100 yards and eight touchdowns in 2019 as the Colts’ primary rusher, but Jonathan Taylor took over Mack’s starting role last year when Mack was lost for the season to a torn Achilles.

The Colts re-signed Mack to a one-year, $2 million contract in March.

As a senior at Booker High School, Booker rushed for 1,527 yards and 19 touchdowns for the Tornadoes. He totaled 1,666 yards from scrimmage and scored 22 touchdowns on offense, and made 100 tackles and intercepted four passes on defense, and would go to play his college ball at the University of South Florida, before being drafted by the Colts in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
